Sheila Piercey Summers
Sheila Piercey Summers (born March 18, 1919 in Johannesburg , South Africa , † August 14, 2005 ) was a South African tennis player .
Career
In 1947 she won with her compatriot Eric Sturgess at the French Tennis Championships in mixed against Jadwiga Jędrzejowska and Christian Caralulis in straight sets 6: 0 and 6: 0th The two were able to repeat their 1949 victory against Jean Quertier and Gerry Oakley in two sets with 6: 1 and 6: 1.
In the mixed doubles of the Wimbledon Championships Piercey Summer and Sturgess won against John Bromwich and Louise Brough in three sets with 9: 7, 9:11 and 7: 5 in 1949 .
