Sherwood Content is a scattered settlement in northern Jamaica . The city is located in County Cornwall in the Parish Trelawny . The exact number of inhabitants is not known. The community consists of the previously independent settlements Content, Coxheath, Piemont and Sherwood.
etymology
The name Sherwood Content is composed of the two place names Sherwood and Content, the two largest settlements of the previously independent communities.
geography
Sherwood Content is located, on average, 210 meters above sea level. The hilly area around the city is heavily forested. The closest town is Duanvale in the east, about five kilometers away . Falmouth , the capital and largest town of the Parish, is about 20 kilometers north on the coast.
