Shih-Hung Chen

(Kevin) Shih-Hung Chen (born February 27, 1976 in Changhua , Taiwan ; Chinese: 陳思宏) is a writer , actor and journalist .

Life

Shih-Hung Chen was born the last of nine children and studied English and drama in Taipei . He has lived in Berlin since 2003 .

Works

Shih-Hung Chen has published four books so far, two with short stories (The Generation of Blossoming Nails 指甲 長 花 的 世代) and The Ghost Track of Bonfire (營火 鬼 道), a novel (Attitude 態度) and in 2011 a book with stories Berlin (叛逆 柏林: Rebellious Berlin). He also reports in column form on life in Germany and Berlin for various newspapers from Taiwan (United Daily News, Liberty Times and Mandarin Daily News) . His works are particularly popular with young people.

As an actor, he has so far been seen in the films in Germany: Ghosted by Monika Treut (2009), the short film Kung Bao Huhn by Bin Chuen Choi (2010), Global Player - Wo wir sind isch front by Hannes Stöhr (2013) and the comedy series Jerks. (2018).

Awards

The novel Attitude won the award for best first work in Taiwan.
