Coordinates: 32 ° 11 ′ S , 121 ° 46 ′ E The Shire of Dundas is a local government area (LGA) in the Australian state of Western Australia . The area is 93,179 km² and has about 800 inhabitants (2016).
Dundas is located in the southeast of the state on the Australian south coast about 560 to 1250 kilometers east of the capital Perth and borders South Australia . The headquarters of the Shire Council is in the village of Norseman , where less than 600 people live (2016).

The Dundas Council has seven members. They are elected by all residents of the Shire. Dundas is not divided into districts. The chairman of the council (Shire President) is also recruited from among the councilors.
