Shotgun Express was a short-lived British rock band that only existed for a few months from 1966 to early 1967 . Members were Beryl Marsden (vocals), Rod Stewart (harmonica, vocals), Peter Bardens (keyboard), Peter Green (guitar, later replaced by John Moorshead and then Phil Sawyer), Dave Ambrose (bass) and Mick Fleetwood (drums).
The band released the single I Could Feel The Whole World Turn Round in October 1966 . The group was particularly important as a stepping stone for the careers of the individual band members: Rod Stewart went to the Jeff Beck Group , Green and Fleetwood joined John Mayall and his Bluesbreakers before they founded Fleetwood Mac , and Bardens played and founded The Love Affair then Village .
