Shyhrete Behluli
Shyhrete Behluli (born January 10, 1962 in Mušutište , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Kosovar Albanian singer . Their music is a mixture of Albanian folklore and contemporary pop . Influences from turbo folk are also partly included.
Life
Shyhrete Behluli was born into a musical family in the southern Kosovar village of Mushtisht , then still part of Yugoslavia . Her father, Xhemal Behluli, was the greatest supporter of his daughter's singing talent. She went to Suhareka Middle School, where she met her future husband from Podujeva , industrial worker Luan Salihu, during a soccer game . The lovers married in 1981. In the following years they had five children.
