Sibaviatrans , SIAT for short , was an airline based in the Russian city of Krasnoyarsk .
history
The company was founded in 1995 and belonged 100% to the brothers Alexander and Boris Abramowitsch. In 2004 the company merged with four other Russian Abramowitsch airlines to form the AiRUnion alliance. At the end of 2007, the five companies were supposed to merge under the name AirUnion to form a large airline, but this never happened due to financial problems.
In September 2008 Sibaviatrans stopped flight operations due to the collapse of the AirUnion.
