Sibylle Wolf (violinist)

Sibylle Wolf (* 1970 in Hameln ) is a German violinist .

Life

Sibylle Wolf received her first violin lessons as a child at the age of seven. After graduating from school, she studied in Hanover at the University of Music and Theater there with Barbara Koerppen , in Salzburg at the Mozarteum with Helmut Zehetmair , and also in Graz and with Thomas Zehetmair . Wolf passed her diploma in 1996 with distinction and also received the award of the Austrian Ministry of Science, Transport and Art .

During her studies, Sibylle Wolf was a member of the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie , the European Youth Orchestra and concertmaster of the Ensemble Resonanz . After completing her studies, Wolf played regularly from 1997 to 2000 in the orchestra of the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen and as a soloist in the Ensemble Modern . Sibylle Wolf has been 1st violinist in the Lower Saxony State Orchestra since 2000 .
