Sid Greene
Sidney "Sid" Greene (born June 18, 1906 , † October 1972 ) was an American comic artist .
Greene began his career as a full-time comic artist in 1941. In the early years of his career he drew and / or inked humorous comics such as Target and the Targeteers for Novely Comics. Crime and horror comics for publishers Ace Periodicals and Hillman followed before he drew the series Fangs , Inspector Hunt and Speed Spaulding for Holyoke Publishing .
In 1955 Greene went to DC Comics , for which he worked as a draftsman and ink artist for series in the fields of superhero comics ( The Atom , Batman , The Flash , Green Lantern , Hawkman , Justice League of America ) and des Scary comics ( House of Mystery , House of Secrets ) designed. For Marvel Comics publisher , Greene worked on the series KAR ZAR and SHIELD in the 1970s
