Seven powerful principalities of the Warring States Period

The Seven mighty principalities of the Warring States Period or seven great powers ( Chinese  戰國七雄  /  战国七雄 , Pinyin Zhanguo qīxióng ; also briefly 七雄 , Qīxióng called) were powerful states in ancient China during the Warring States Period . They were called:

• Chu (楚)
• Han (韓)
• Qi (齊)
• Qin (秦)
• White (魏)
• Yan (燕)
• Zhao (趙)

The eventual winner of all wars among them was the state of Qin , whose ruler Qin Shi Huang founded the first imperial dynasty in Chinese history.
