Siegbert Uhlig

Siegbert Uhlig (born February 16, 1939 in Königsberg ) is a German Africanist .

Life

From 1961 to 1977 he was a pastor in Rostock . After A. W. Dieckhoff's dissertation on ecclesiastical political and theological issues of his time under the aspect of his research on the history of the Reformation on July 8, 1969, as a Dr. theol. at the University of Rostock he became a private lecturer for Ethiopian Studies in Hamburg in 1985 and taught there from 1990 to 2004 as a professor (C4) for African languages ​​and cultures with a focus on Ethiopian studies.
