Siegfried Funk
Siegfried "Siggi" Funk (* July 23, 1944 ; † July 16, 2007 in Augsburg ) was a German referee and sports official .
Siegfried Funk was a full-time graduate engineer in electrical engineering and since 1988 he was responsible for the referee of the DTB. He was the German member of the Technical Committee of the World Gymnastics Federation ( Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique ), since 2004 its secretary. He was the highest referee in German gymnastics . Funk was, together with his wife Inge, active as a referee on a national and international level for decades. He died after a long, serious illness.
