Siegfried Melinski

Siegfried Melinski (born March 17, 1915 in Osterode ; † May 25, 1973 in Berlin ) was a politician of the GB / BHE in the Baden-Württemberg state parliament .

Life and work

Melinski was a displaced person who worked in the civil service in Baden-Württemberg after the Second World War. He was a senior government councilor in Waiblingen and was active as chairman of the “self-help” settlement community.

In 1950 he was elected to the 1st state parliament of Baden-Württemberg via the state list for the constituency of Waiblingen . However, he was investigated for aiding and abetting in perjury, and despite a petition for clemency and talks with Prime Minister Gebhard Müller, he was dismissed from the civil service (1957). On June 2, 1953, he had resigned his mandate.

On June 9, 1953, Heinrich Mühl replaced Melinski as a member of the Baden-Württemberg state parliament.
