Siegfried Steiner

Siegfried Steiner (born October 3, 1940 in Klagenfurt ; † March 15, 2013 ibid) was an Austrian savings bank employee and beetle collector .

Siegfried Steiner attended compulsory school in Klagenfurt and then began to work at the Kärntner Sparkasse . From 1970 to 1996 he was head of the department for domestic payment transactions, and he was also a member of the supervisory board of the Kärntner Sparkasse.

Since his youth he was an avid beetle collector and was particularly interested in longhorn beetles , on which he also published several articles. He donated his extensive collection to the Carinthian State Museum in Klagenfurt.
