Sieglinde Wiegand
Sieglinde Wiegand (born August 11, 1929 in Meißen ; † November 4, 2018 ) was a German actress and director .
Life
Sieglinde Wiegand was born in Meißen, Saxony, in 1929. After training as an actress, she made her debut at the Theater Meißen in 1949 . Then she was engaged at the Landestheater Meiningen . In 1954 she went to the Kleist Theater in Frankfurt (Oder) . From 1968 she worked as a director at the Friedrich-Wolf-Theater Neustrelitz . She later became senior director there.
From 1954 she was married to the conductor and university professor Olaf Koch (1932–2001); their daughter Stephanie Koch (* 1955) is a director. In 1966 Wiegand married the music director Hartmut Kretzschmann (* 1941).
