Signori Dominique Nymi António (born July 25, 1994 in Lausanne ) is a Swiss - Angolan football goalkeeper who was under contract with FC Basel between January 2018 and summer 2019 .

Career

societies

Signori António, born in Lausanne, played in his youth at Étoile Sportive FC Malley and in the youth department of FC Lausanne-Sport . In the summer of 2012 he moved to the first team in Lausanne and signed his first professional contract. After two seasons in which he came to eleven appearances in the Super League , he moved to FC Le Mont-sur-Lausanne in the Challenge League , to which he belonged for one season. In July 2015 he moved to his second home Angola for free to CD Primeiro de Agosto , where he fought his way to the goalkeeper in the second season.

After he was without a contract from summer 2017 to the end of the year, he was signed by FC Basel in January 2018 , which initially provided him with a contract until the end of the 2017/18 season . This was extended for another year in June 2018.

National team

Signori António went through a few levels of the Swiss junior national team from U-15 to U-20 until he decided in 2014 to play for the Angolan national team in the future. In qualifying for the 2018 World Cup in Russia , he was in the Angolans' goal in the second round in the two defeats against South Africa .
