Sigrid Faltin

Sigrid Faltin (* 1956 in Dessau ) is a German historian and television journalist.

Life

Faltin studied English, German and history at the universities of Bonn and Freiburg and received her doctorate in Modern History in 1984 with a thesis on German emigrants from the Palatinate to the United States.

After a traineeship, she worked as a regional correspondent and as a radio and television presenter for Südwestfunk (SWF). A number of biographical documentaries and publications were also made.
