Sigurd Rushfeldt (born December 11, 1972 in Vadsø ) is a former Norwegian football player .

He currently plays in the Norwegian Tippeligaen for Tromsø IL and is the record scorer in the same league. Like Thorstein Helstad , Rushfeldt played for both Rosenborg Trondheim and FK Austria Wien . As a player with Sami roots, he was also set up for the non-official Sápmi soccer team .

National team

From 1994 to 2007 Rushfeldt was a Norwegian national player . During his career he scored seven goals in a total of 38 appearances and took part in the 1994 World Cup in the USA.
