Silberquell is the name of a house in Flensburg at Norderstraße 43. It is one of the city's cultural monuments .

The two-story half-timbered gable house was built in 1535 and is one of the oldest town houses in the city. The core of the rear wing was built around 1600. The half-timbered upper floor of the rear wing, which was added later, was built around 1709. In 1921, the two eaves lanes , left and right of the house, were added to the building. The ground floor facade was provided with large shop windows. After the Second World War, the building housed the “Silberquell” inn.

In 2000 the building was restored by its owner. The original width of the building, the half-timbered structure on the upper floor and the original window openings were restored. The shop windows were replaced by matching wooden lattice windows. The inn apparently closed in the early 2000s. Around 2013/14, the neighboring building on the right-hand side was demolished and the property in question was rebuilt (see Roxy ).

The building has recently been placed under monument protection for historical, artistic and urban planning reasons . However, the upper floor and the attic of the house have apparently been empty for several years. The Silberquell house is falling into disrepair, so that the existence of the cultural monument is endangered.
