Sillano is a district of the municipality of Sillano Giuncugnano in the province of Lucca .

Sillano is 735 m. In 2017 about 350 people lived in Sillano. The fractions (districts) Brica, Villa Soraggio, Metello, Dalli Sopra, Dalli Sotto, Camporanda and Capanne belong to the place. Silliano is in the Garfagnana . The Serchio di Sillano , the main arm of the Serchio , has its source in the northern municipality .
history
The town's patron saint is San Bartolomeo (August 24th). Since 1900, when over 1300 people lived in the village, the population has steadily decreased, so that in 2013 only about 660 people lived in the village. Until December 31, 2014 the place was an independent municipality. Since then she and Giuncugnano have been part of the new municipality of Sillano Giuncugnano.
