Silvano Barilli

Silvano Barilli (born December 2, 1968 ) is a Swiss professional officer ( brigadier ).

Silvano Barilli holds a degree in economics from the University of Zurich and a master's degree in military science from Air University ( Montgomery ) (2005). In 1998 Barilli joined the instruction corps of the Aviator NCOs and Recruits School. In 2000 he was assigned staff officer to the commander of the airfield brigade. In 2006 he became group leader and staff coach at the higher cadre training of the army . In 2009 he worked abroad on behalf of Swisscoy . In 2011 he became the commander of the Aviator NCOs and Recruits School and in 2014 project manager for the further development of the Swiss Air Force . In 2016 he was promoted to Brigadier Chief of Staff of the Chief of the Army . Since January 1, 2018, he has been in command of Logistics Brigade 1 .

Barilli is married to Maria Anna Barilli.
