The Silverfish Bay (English for silverfish bay ) is a roughly triangular bay on the Scott coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It is located in Terra Nova Bay . Its coastline runs from the tip of the Campbell glacier tongue over the Shield Nunatak to Oscar Point .
The New Zealand Geographic Board named it in 2006 after the eggs of the Antarctic silverfish ( Pleuragramma antarcticum ) found here in large numbers .
