The Vacci Piedmont Glacier is a foreland glacier on the Scott Coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It lies between the Shield Nunatak and Oscar Point and ends in Silverfish Bay .
The New Zealand Geographic Board named it in 2006 after the marine researcher Marino Vacchi, who was involved in the Italian Antarctic program from 1987 and was a member of the Commission for the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources from 1990 .
