Silvia Baradel (born June 2, 1991 in Anzio ) is an Italian volleyball player .

Career

Baradel began her career in 2008 in the Volleyrò youth team. In the 2009/10 season she played with Fidia Rome in the third Italian division (B1) and a year later with Vigolzone Volley. In 2011, the player switched to Ornavasso Volley. With the club she managed to rise from the third to the first division within two years. However, Baradel came only a few missions due to several injuries. In January 2013 she had to undergo knee surgery. In October of the same year she tore a cruciate ligament ; so she missed the 2013/14 season. In the summer of 2014, the player finally switched to the third division team Tecnoteam Albese . In 2015 she was signed by the German Bundesliga club Ladies in Black Aachen ; she was the first Italian player in the club's history. The Aacheners were eliminated in the pre-playoffs of the 2015/16 Bundesliga season and had to file for bankruptcy, which is why Baradel left the club after one season.
