Silvia Dullinger
Silvia Dullinger (born May 12, 1959 ) is an Austrian lawyer and professor of civil law at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz , where she heads the private business law department . In addition, as chairman of the board of directors of the institute for banking law located there.
Life
Silvia Dullinger grew up in Leonding . After graduating from high school with excellent results at an upper level secondary school in Linz and studying law at Johannes Kepler University, she received her doctorate in law in 1981. The legal internship at the District Court of Linz-Land and at Linz Regional Court was followed by a position as assistant professor at the Institute of Civil Law at the University of Linz in Peter Rummel in the department of general civil law doctrine in 1992 by a researcher at the University of Bonn , Institute of Private International Law and Comparative Law at Wolfgang Freiherr Marschall von Bieberstein was interrupted. After her habilitation in the subject of civil law in October 1994 on set-off , for which she was awarded the Walther Kastner Prize in 1995, she was an associate professor at the Institute for Civil Law at the Johannes Kepler University in the Department of General Civil Law Doctrine . From 2000 to 2001 she also worked in the legal department of Raiffeisenlandesbank Oberösterreich .
Since March 2011 Dullinger has been university professor for civil law at the University of Linz, where she heads the private commercial law department . She is a member of numerous commissions and senates of the university as well as scientific director of the civil law study program. Since 2002 she has also been chairman of the board of the Institute for Banking Law, which she co-founded, and academic director of a series of seminars on banking and capital market law . Since 2009 she has also been CEO of the Peter Rummel Study Fund . Dullinger is a member of working groups at the Ministry of Justice and Science .
