Silvio Pagano (born September 12, 1985 in Wuppertal ) is an Italian soccer player . He has been under contract with the fourth division club Wuppertaler SV since 2016 .

Career

At the age of 18, Pagano began his career with the second team of 1. FC Köln . From there he was loaned to FC Carl Zeiss Jena for six months in 2006 , for which he played six games in the 2nd Bundesliga in the 2006/07 season . In the first half of 2007 there was another loan to SSVg Velbert in the Oberliga Nordrhein . In the summer break of 2007 Pagano left Cologne for good and moved to the Regionalliga Nord for SC Verl . For the 2008/09 season he moved to Rot-Weiss Essen in the new Regionalliga West, a year later he joined the league competitor Sportfreunde Lotte . For the 2010/11 season Pagano moved to the third division Wuppertaler SV Borussia . In the summer of 2011 he signed a contract for the Regionalliga West with SC Fortuna Köln , for which he was Cologne's top scorer with 16 goals in 33 appearances in his first season. With Fortuna, he failed in the 2012/13 season as second in the table, just short of promotion to the third division. He then moved to league rivals FC Viktoria Köln . With the title candidate Pagano failed again in the 2013/14 season on promotion, instead his ex-club Fortuna won the championship. In the summer of 2015, the upper division KFC Uerdingen 05 announced the commitment of Pagano, a year later he moved back to Wuppertaler SV.
