Silviya Angelova

Silviya Angelova (born June 22, 1982 ) is an Azerbaijani weightlifter .

Career

Angelova from Bulgaria was sixth in the class up to 48 kg at the European Championships in 2006 , 2009 and 2010 . Then she started for Azerbaijan. At the 2011 World Championships , she reached seventh place. In 2012 she won the bronze medal at the European Championships . At the European Championships in 2013 she came second. However, her doping test was positive and she was banned for two years. After her suspension, she tested positive again at the 2015 World Championships .
