Simón Pagua , full name Simón Pagua Martínez (born December 18, 1987 in Tarariras or Colonia ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

According to his club, the 1.72 meter tall striker , who played for Nacional in Tarariras in his youth , began his professional career in 2004 with the Montevideo Wanderers , where he has been part of the first division team since at least the 2005 Apertura . After one use without a personal goal in the 2004 and 2005 seasons, he ran in 29 top division games in the 2005/06 season and scored four goals. In the following season another 17 missions and one goal were added. For the 2007/08 season he moved to the second division side Plaza Colonia and joined its league rivals Cerrito in the following season . After he made two first division appearances there after the rise of his club in the 2009/10 season, his career path then led to Juventud de Las Piedras in February 2010 , where he was under contract in the Clausura 2010 and played a second division game (no goal) . Via the Cerro Largo station, which began in August 2010, in the 2010/2011 season, after 20 second division appearances and three goals, he finally joined his current employer Club Atlético Cerro in June 2011 , whose squad in the Primera División he has been a member of since then. In his first season he came there on ten goalless premier league appearances, while for the 2012/13 season ten games (one goal) are recorded for him. On July 22, 2013, Pagua was operated on successfully due to problems with the meniscus of the right knee, but was initially absent for several weeks. In early October 2013 he joined the second division Canadian Soccer Club . There he ran twelve times in the Segunda División in the 2013/14 season and scored two goals. Further members of the squad or assignments in the following seasons have not yet been recorded for him (as of August 9, 2016).
