Simion Pop

Simion Pop (born September 25, 1930 in Vărai , Maramureș County , Romania ; † May 12, 2008 , Pécs , Hungary ) was a writer , journalist and Romanian diplomat .

Life

Simion Pop was editor of the Romanian Radio, Vice-President of the Romanian Writers' Union and editor of România Pitorească magazine . After the Romanian Revolution of 1989, he was Romania's Ambassador to Hungary from 1990 to 1992.
