Simjon Simev

Simjon Simev ( Macedonian Симјон Симев ; born May 30, 1949 in Štip ) is a North Macedonian poet , essayist and journalist .

Life

Simev (Cyrillic: Симев) studied history and art history at the Skopje University "Cyril and Method" . He worked as a high school teacher and as an employee of the Ministry of Culture. Until 2002 he was editor-in-chief of the Radio Kultura of Macedonian radio and television, where he was dismissed for his Bulgarophile attitude.
