Simon Baumann (filmmaker)

Simon Baumann (born January 25, 1979 in Bern ; resident in Wileroltigen ) is a Swiss filmmaker .

Life

Simon Baumann is the son of Stephanie and Ruedi Baumann , the first Swiss National Council couple, and the older brother of the Bernese Grand Councilor Kilian Baumann . Simon Baumann attended the business school in Biel until 1998 and then studied at the University of the Arts in Bern , where he obtained the rhythmic diploma in 2001 and the diploma in music and media art in 2005.

Together with his partner Andreas Pfiffner , he has made several award-winning, often satirical, documentaries .

With the shooting template for the documentary For example Suberg , Simon Baumann won the first Swiss documentary film competition of the Migros Culture Percentage in 2010 .
