Simon Gallas (born October 1, 2001 in Bühl ) is a German volleyball and beach volleyball player .

Career

Indoor volleyball

Simon Gallas played in his youth at the local TV Bühl . In the 2017/18 and 2018/19 seasons he was active at SSC Karlsruhe in the second Bundesliga south . In the 2018/19 season, the outside attacker also played with a special right to play with the volleyball Bisons Bühl in the first division. For the 2019/20 season, Gallas moved to the University of Southern California Athletics. His coach there is Jeff Nygaard .

In 2018 he won the title at the European Championships with the junior national team.

With the U20 of TV Bühl, he became German champion in 2019.

With the Baden-Württemberg selection, he was twice national cup winner (2018 and 2019). At the international tournament in Biella, Italy, he was voted MVP twice (2018 and 2019) and won the tournament in 2019 with the Baden-Württemberg selection.

In 2017 he won the title with Linus Engelmann at the Baden-Württemberg U17 and a week later second place with Nico Schramm at the U18 state championships. With Linus Engelmann he was twelfth placed fourth at the German U17 championships in Magdeburg.
