Simon Tofield (actually Simon Tofieldd , * 1971 ) is a British author , illustrator , animator , film director , film editor and effects artist . He is the inventor of the popular cartoon , book and daily strip series Simon's Cat .
Life
In 2008, Tofield invented the four-cat-inspired character Simon's Cat while testing Adobe Flash . The first film, Simon's Cat, was followed by a series of films, daily strips and books . He lives in Bedfordshire with his wife and four cats .
