Simona Baumrtová (after marriage to Kubová ; born August 24, 1991 in Chomutov , Czechoslovakia ) is a Czech back swimmer . At the 2013 European Short Course Championships in Herning, Denmark, she was European champion over 50 m back.

In 26.26 seconds, she referred Poland's Aleksandra Urbańczyk (26.31 s) and Swede Michelle Coleman (26.67 s) to the silver and bronze rankings. A year earlier, Baumrtová also made it onto the podium at the 2012 Short Course World Championships in Istanbul: She took bronze over 100 m back in 57.18 s behind the American Olivia Smoglia (56.64 s) and the Danish Mie Østergaard Nielsen (57.07 s).

At the 2012 Olympic Games Baumrtová was able to undercut the minute limit over 100 m back in the sixth heat with a national record in 59.99 s, but only finished fifth and was eliminated. The winner here and in the finals was the four-time Olympic champion Missy Franklin .
