Simone Dinnerstein

Simone Andréa Dinnerstein (born September 18, 1972 in New York ) is an American pianist.

Life

Dinnerstein is a daughter of the painter Simon Dinnerstein . She studied at the Manhattan School of Music (pre-college program), u. a. together with Solomon Mikowsky . She later switched to the Juilliard School , where she became a student of pianist Peter Serkin . With his support, she was later accepted as a student in London by Maria Curcio .

In 2005 and 2007, Dinnerstein appeared as a guest pianist at the Bard Music Festival at Bard College on the Hudson River .

She lives in Brooklyn with husband Jeremy Greensmith and their 2001 son .
