Palm achieved his first top 10 placings in the Scandinavian Cup in February 2014 with fifth place in the Madona sprint and eighth place in the Otepää sprint and shortly thereafter made his debut in the cross-country skiing world cup in Drammen on March 5, 2014 , where he was in Sprint took 57th place.
