Sinha Melina Gierke

Sinha Melina Gierke (born June 11, 1989 in Berlin ) is a German actress .

Career

Gierke grew up in Berlin and graduated from high school here. As a career changer, she starred in the short film next door , which was shown at festivals around the world, and in the ARD television film It's not over . Shortly thereafter she got her first leading role in the feature film Happy End ?! which also ran at festivals. A year later she took on one of the leading roles in the mystery thriller series Weinberg , in which she could also be seen on VOX as the wine queen Sophia Finck . The series Weinberg was awarded the Grimme Prize in 2016 and nominated for the German Television Prize 2016. Sinha Melina Gierke can also be seen in the second season of the international series Sense8 , and she was awarded for her performance in the short film Va Banque at the 9th international film festival in Tangier. In 2017 she was seen as one of the leading roles in the episode in Soko Köln on ZDF .

In 2019 she is in the TV series 23 Murders - Ready for the Truth? , which was shot for Sat.1 in autumn 2015 and has been published on Joyn since August 19, 2019.
