The Sintika Cove (English; Bulgarian залив Синтика saliw Sintika ) is a 4 km wide and 2.35 km long bay on the southeast coast of Elephant Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located north of Endurance Point and south of the mouth of the Endurance Glacier in the Weddell Sea . It is dominated by Mount Elder in the southwest.
British scientists mapped it in 2009. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2016 after the Thracian region of Sintika in southwestern Bulgaria .
