Sirchenried is a church village and part of the municipality Ried in the district of Aichach-Friedberg in the administrative district of Swabia in Bavaria .

Sirchenried is about one and a half kilometers southeast of Ried.

The independent municipality of Sirchenried belonged to the district of Friedberg until January 1, 1972 and was incorporated into the municipality of Ried on that day. On July 1, 1972, Ried and its districts were added to the newly founded district of Aichach-Friedberg as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .

The Catholic branch church Sankt Nikolaus in Sirchenried belongs to the Catholic parish Sankt Walburga in Ried.

To the north of Sirchenried, the district road AIC 14 leads from Ried to the district boundary, where it merges into the district road FFB 4 to Tegernbach .

The moat rises south of Sirchenried and flows southeast through Tegernbach and flows north of Mittelstetten into the Glonn , a left tributary of the Amper .
