Eismannsberg is a church village and part of the municipality Ried in the district of Aichach-Friedberg in the administrative district of Swabia in Bavaria . The parish also includes the parish village of Holzburg , the village of Asbach and the hamlet of Burgstall .

Eismannsberg is about four kilometers east of Ried. Asbach is about two and a half kilometers west, Holzburg about one kilometer northwest and Burgstall about one and a half kilometers east of Eismannsberg.

Until July 1, 1972, the independent municipality of Eismannsberg and its districts belonged to the Friedberg district , which then became part of the newly established Aichach-Friedberg district. On May 1, 1978 it was incorporated into the municipality of Ried as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .

The Catholic branch church Maria Hilf in Holzburg as well as the branch church Sankt Castulus in Eismannsberg and the Marienkapelle in Asbach (both since 1925) belong to the Catholic parish Sankt Martin in Baindlkirch . Burgstall with its Loreto chapel has belonged to the Catholic parish of Sankt Stephan in Egenburg since 1925 .

The district road AIC 6 runs in a west-east direction from Bachern via Asbach, Holzburg, Eismannsberg and Burgstall to the district border, where it joins the district road DAH 7 .

In the district there are a few smaller ditches and streams, all of which flow into the bathing ditch , which flows to the northwest and flows south of Rohrbach into the Eisenbach , a right tributary of the Paar .
