The baseball and softball club Frogs Sissach (Sissach Frogs for short) is a club from Sissach that participates with various teams in the Swiss baseball and softball leagues. The first team plays in the National Baseball League A of the Swiss Baseball and Softball Association SBSV.

history

The club was founded in 1985 in Sissach and took part in the Swiss National League B for the first time in 1986. In 1989, the Frogs won the National League B and made it to National League A for the first time for the following season, in which they could not hold.

After the renewed victory of National League B in 1991, the Frogs were able to hold out in National League A from 1992 to 1999. For the 2000 season, the club voluntarily relegated to the first division, but made the breakthrough and played from 2002 to 2011 in the National League A. 2012, she rose again voluntarily in the NLB. In 2015 the Frogs rose again to the National League A. At the same time, a second team took part in the first division in the championship operation.
