history

The Truck Star Dulliken baseball & softball team was founded on December 28, 1984 by teenagers. After a two-year development phase, they started in the National League B , which had been introduced a year earlier. At the same time, however, strong competition arose in Aarau in the immediate vicinity, which was quickly established in the National League A. However, Truck Star remained the leading address in the junior sector, winning the junior championship, which was held for the first time in 1988. In 1990 they were relegated to the newly introduced 1st league, whereupon in 1992 they were promoted back to the National League B. After only one year, the team was forcibly relegated due to referee missions.

As a result, Truck Star took a top position in the first division every year, but failed year after year in the play-off games for promotion. It was not until 1997 that they were promoted again to the National League B. In the meantime, the junior division split off and founded a new club in Olten . Without a youth department, Truck Star had a difficult time and, after some players also moved to Olten, even had to accept the voluntary relegation.

Although it was possible to build up its own junior department again, the first team had to be liquidated due to a lack of active players. But the two nearby competitors in Aarau and Olten also disbanded shortly afterwards, so that Truck Star was the only address between Zurich and Bern to regain momentum. 2007 and 2008 and from 2013 you could start again in the first division. In 2018, by winning the 1st division, the promotion to the National League B could be celebrated. After a successful 2019 season, he even managed to get promoted to National League A for the first time as a runner-up. However, this had to be dispensed with, as the field does not conform to the rules and so had to start again in the 1st division.

In the junior sector, there has been a collaboration since 2005 in changing constellations with the Sissach Frogs , the Zurich Challengers , which also continued in the first division between 2013 and 2015, with the Bern Cardinals and the Sissach Frogs, with whom the Swiss championship title in 2015 could be won in the Cadets U15 , the Therwil Flyers and the Thun Hunters . Since 2020, both the Cadets U15 and the Juveniles U12 have again had a syndicate with the Sissach Frogs.

Truck Star has been taking part in the national softball league A championship with a women's team since 2018, initially in a syndicate with the Bern Cardinals , since 2019 independently.
