The Sixtymile River ( English for "sixty mile river") is a left tributary of the Yukon River in Alaska and the Canadian Yukon Territory .
The river arises in Alaska, 10 km west of the state border with Canada and 90 km west of Dawson . The Sixtymile River initially flows northeast and crosses the border. Later it turns south and shortly before its confluence with the Yukon to the east. The estuary is 40 miles upstream from Dawson.
The catchment area covers about 3700 km². At the gauge 45 km above the mouth, the mean discharge is 13.5 m³ / s. The months with the highest discharge are May and June.
