Sjarhej Sasnouski ( Belarusian Сяргей Сасноўскі , Russian Сергей Сосновский / Sergei Sosnowski; born August 14, 1981 in Minsk ) is a Belarusian football player who currently plays for the BATE Baryssau national team and is also under contract for the Belarusian team. In the qualifying phase for the Champions League 2008/09 he scored against Levski Sofia a goal. With the 1-1 draw, BATE became the first Belarusian team in history to qualify for the group stage. He made his debut for the national team in a 5-1 win on April 1, 2009 against Kazakhstan .
