Sjeanne Cawdry (born October 4, 1972 ) is a former South African squash player .

Career

Sjeanne Cawdry began playing squash at the age of eight. After achieving greater success in the juniors, she began to pursue the sport more seriously at the age of 18 and became a professional player on the WSA World Tour . Their highest placing in the world rankings, it reached rank 30. With the South African national team took it in 2000 and 2002 at the World Cup in part. In singles, she was only in the main draw of the World Cup in 1993 , when it was held in Johannesburg . Against Vicki Cardwell , she was eliminated in the first round. In 2003 she was also part of the South African squad at the Africa Games and won the silver medal with the team. In the individual, she was eliminated in the quarterfinals against Engy Kheirallah . This was their last international squash tournament.

While on hiatus from squash, Cawdry studied sports science at Rhodes University , from which she graduated with honors.
