The 2015 Skeleton Junior World Championship was the 13th edition of the Skeleton Junior World Championship and took place between February 9 and 16, 2015 in Altenberg in the Ore Mountains on the DKB ice canal . As in the previous year, Jacqueline Lölling won the women's competition, the junior world champion title, making it the second female skeleton rider after Kathleen Lorenz ( 2004 and 2005 ) to become junior world champion twice and who was able to defend her title. There was a historic double victory for men. With Christopher Grotheer from Germany and Nikita Tregubow from Russia, there were two junior world champions and no silver medalist for the first time in history. While it was Nikita Tregubov's first title, Christopher Grotheer was able to become junior world champion for the second time after 2013 , something that only Alexander Tretyakov had achieved before . With regard to Christopher Grotheer, it should be mentioned that five years after his junior world title in Altenberg he was able to become world champion in the adult division on the same track at the 2020 bobsleigh and skeleton world championships .
