The Skelly Peak is a 1450  m high mountain in the Ellsworth Mountains of the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . In the Heritage Range it marks the northeastern foothills of the Watlack Hills .

The United States Geological Survey mapped it using its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1961 to 1966. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1966 after Donald J. Skelly, Hospital Corpsman of the United States Navy, who was Chief in 1966 Petty Officer managed the US Palmer Station .
