Orienteering World Championships 1988

The 7th World Ski Orienteering Championships were held from 2. March bis 6. March 1988 in Kuopio , Finland instead.

Finland was the second time since 1975 (venue Hyvinkää ) to host a world championship in orienteering skiing.

With the short distance race, a new competition has been added to the competition program.
