The National Gallery of Art Sculpture Park is a sculpture park at the National Gallery of Australia on Lake Burley Griffin in the Australian capital of Canberra .

history

Immediately after the National Gallery was completed in 1981, the sculpture park was laid out by the landscape architect Harry Howard. The planning for this began in 1972 and there were several sculptures, such as the Hill Arches by Henry Moore, Bobine by Alexander Calder, Virginia by Clement Meadmore and other works by Auguste Rodin.
