The Sky high-rise is a building in Bietigheim-Bissingen in Baden-Württemberg .

The high-rise is being built in the immediate vicinity of Bietigheim-Bissingen train station , between the railway system in the south and Bahnhofstrasse to the north. The building planned by the Ludwigsburg architecture firm KMB should reach a height of around 70 meters and enable commercial use on the lower ten floors and residential use on the floors above. With an edge length of only around 24 meters, it will be a rather narrow building. The costs are estimated at 24 million euros. A 3300 square meter section of the former freight station, which the housing association bought from the city of Bietigheim for 660,000 euros, serves as the building site.

The construction of the site road began in March 2014, after which the actual construction began. It should be completed by the end of 2016 [obsolete] .

The project was temporarily on the brink when protected sand lizards were discovered on the fallow land . A little later, however, these were no longer to be found.

In addition to the high-rise, a multi-storey car park serving rail travelers and a medical center will later be built.

The nickname Langer Jürgen reminds of the mayor of Bietigheim-Bissing, Jürgen Kessing .

Sales of the apartment (11-18 floors) started on May 31, 2014. Apartments between 80 and 200 square meters will be built. The square meter price is said to be an average of 4700 €.
